HISTORY :
Owing to the difficulties faced by the Catholics of Anegudde and surrounding villages in attending Mass at Shirthady, Fr J.J. Martis started offering Mass at Anegudde School building on October 2, 1980.
Later, Mr. Paul D’Souza donated a plot of land and on this piece of land Fr Alex Aranha constructed a new chapel and it was blessed on December 14, 1987. At a later date, Mr. Sebastian D’Mello donated some more land to the church. Efforts are on to have a parish here.
