Covid-19 Relief program Food-kits distributed to needy SHG families

Mangaluru, June 17: Snehasadan-Gurpur and CODP® Mangaluru organized Covid-19 relief food-kit distribution to 200 SHG and local families of Bajpe, Moodbidri, Pakshikere, Talapady, Vorkady, Kumbla, Kayyar and Mangaluru on 11th and 12th June 2020. These food kits were supported by Camillian Task Force India and Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation. Before distribution of food-kits, as part of the Covid-19 relief activities, the staff of CODP enlightened the beneficiaries on the importance of adopting preventive measures wearing mask while in public places, washing/sanitizing hands frequently and maintaining social distance as far as possible. The families were informed that these basic preventive measures, if followed, would help in containing the spread of this deadly virus.
