Nov 29 : The Annual Parish Feast of Our Lady Of Remedies Church, Kirem was celebrated in devotion and gaiety on Wednesday, November 28, 2018.
Prior to the solemn concelebrated Festal Mass, V. Rev. Fr.Victor D’mello, the parish priest distributed the ‘Candles of Honour’ to all the members of the Parish Pastoral Council, Gurkars and Representatives of the wards, presidents of different parish associations, those who had contributed towards the feast and also the sponsors of the annual feast.
Rt Rev. Dr Peter Paul Saldanha, Bishop of Mangalore celebrated the Solemn Festal Mass, Rev Fr Victor D’Mello and others were present.
Rev Fr Victor D’Mello greeted the priests and the parishoners and he thanked everyone for the contribution, participation and their co-operation.
A number of devotees were found lighting candles near the statue of Mother Mary in front of the church. The stall of the ICYM & Altar Boys with varieties of lucky games was the chief attraction of the feast revelers.
