Jan 3 : ICYM Mukka Unit celebrated its Golden jubilee on 31st December 2020 during New Year Mass.
Golden jubilee was inaugurated on 24th December 2019 during Christmas mass. The whole year was recognised as Jubilee Year. Several competitions and programs such as Singing competition, Seniors’ day, Catechism day, Star making and Greeting card making competitions were conducted for the parishioners throughout the jubilee year. ICYM members organised a program for the parishioners on Christmas evening.
On 31st December 2020 , the New Year mass started with adoration which was conducted by ICYM with the help of Rev. Fr Ashwin Cardoza, director, ICYM Mangalore Diocese followed by ICYM Golden Jubilee Celebration mass. All the members of the unit took part in liturgy and set an example to the parishioners on their 50th Jubilee. Prizes were distributed to all the winners of various competitions. Fr Ashwin Cardoza addressed the gathering and encouraged the unit for their hard work and their active participation in the adoration and mass and also encouraged them for their future programs. Refreshments were provided to the parishioners after the mass. Thus, the jubilee year was concluded with a good motive.
