The concrete road at Pastoral Institute made with the help of Mr J R Lobo MLA and Mr Ivan D Souza MLC was inaugurated and blessed by Most Rev Dr Aloysius Paul D Souza the bishop of Mangalore on Sunday 15 May.
After the inauguration a short felicitation programme was organized at the hall. Both the ministers along the Corporator of the area Mr Keshav felicitated.
Most Rev Dr A.P. D’Souza, cut the cake specially prepared for the occasion of 20 years of his Episcopate as Bishop of Mangalore.
Addressing the gathering Mr Ivan expressed his gratitude for the special love that he received from the bishop and stressed the relevance of the concrete road for the pastoral institute where people come for trainings. He congratulated the bishop at the occasion.
Mr J.R Lobo congratulating bishop said bishop is the leader for the entire society and a role model too; known for doing good to all, but sometimes he has to face sufferings for being good also.
Bishop in his remarks appreciated the joint efforts of both catholic ministers in the construction of concrete road at pastoral Institute which was long felt need.
As the sign of gratitude Bishop offered flowers to all dignitaries on the dais and the contractor. Fr Peter D Souza Director Pastoral Institute welcomed the guests, Fr Vijay Machado Director Mangala Jyothi Compeered the programme.
