MANGALURU, JULY 11: “Listen to the person in the periphery, listen to the people of God”, said Bishop Peter Paul Saldanha addressing the Small Christian Community (SCC) Parish Convenors at Sambhram hall, St Anthony Ashram Jeppu on Sunday, July 10, 2022. He was explaining, what is Synod and it’s importance.
Around 90 SCC convenors from parishes of Mangalore diocese gathered for a training program after the gap of 2 years.
Fr A. Dlima, Fr Harold Periera and Diocesan Resource team conducted the sessions.
‘Amcho SAMUDAY‘ a handbook for SCC is released by the Bishop on this occassion. Fr J.B. Crasta the Director St Anthony charitable institutions hoasted the program.
Fr Joachim Fernandes the SCC director of the Diocese welcomed the gathering and Mr William Colaco compered the program.
