The Department of Nephrology at Father Muller Hospital provides excellent dialysis care to patients suffering from kidney failure at affordable cost. Being the largest dialysis care provider in the city of Mangalore, the dialysis unit handles outpatient, inpatient and intensive care dialysis. The unit works 24 into 7. With new machines, the quality of patient care provided by the hospital will improve further.

Fr Rudolph Ravi D’SA, Administrator of the Hospital poured out his sentiments on the occasion, thanking the Director and the procurement teams to get the units in record time of 1 week. As soon the need was felt by the department, the management left no stone unturned to help its patients. He appreciated the unit for function as a “family” rather than as a unit. The department not only empathizes with its patients but takes them as their own, thus patients become part of the dialysis family. He thanked the patients too for their support and goodwill in making the unit a priceless part of the Father Muller Charitable Institutions.

The Father Muller Medical College Hospital has proven time and again that even a Charitable Institution can strive for continued improvement in patient care and this has been recorded in the closing remarks of many accreditation bodies that have recently visited the hospital. “Heal and Comfort”, the motto runs high, in continued and stronger zeal of service to God’s children.
