MANGALURU; FEB 07: As many as 9 achievers and an institution were presented with the prestigious State Level ‘Sandesha Awards’ 2023 in recognition of their achievements in different fields at the grand award ceremony held at the Sandesha Foundation for Culture and Education premises in Bajjodi, Mangalore on the evening of Tuesday, February 07, 2023.
Most Rev. Dr Henry D’Souza, Chairman, Sandesha Institute and Bishop of Ballary Diocese presided over the programme. Dr M Mohan Alva, Chairman, Alva’s Educational Institutions, Moodbidre was the chief guest. Most Rev. Dr Peter Paul Saldanha, Bishop of Mangalore and Most Rev. Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo, the Bishop of Udupi, Fr Sudeep Paul, the Director of Sandesha, Mr Roy Castelino and Rev Fr Ivan Pinto, the trustees of the Institute joined the dignitaries for conferring the awards.

Sandesha Education Awardee Mr Kotiganahalli Ramaiah presented his poetry.
One of the responses shared by the awardees, Dr Raghavendra Patil, Sandesha Kannada Literature Awardee said, “The quality of the society gets better when there is a micro evolution. When there is a transformation and growth in every individual we will be able to see a society with lot of sattvicism. Sandesha institute is a doing this great work of filling positivity and goodness in the society through the awards. He said, “This honour has elated my spirit to work more in the field I am recognized with”, he added.
Most Rev. Dr Peter Paul Saldanha, Bishop of Mangalore in his address, said, “Human being is a spirit in the world who constantly strives to explore and grow the inner spiritual powers for the betterment of the society. Sandesha awards has displayed and honoured those who have selflessly contributed their resources and inner powers.”
Chief Guest Dr M Mohan Alava said, “I am delighted to be the chief guest for honouring these great men and women who have profusely made use of their God given gifts and talents. Our cultural, religious and social life and values are compromised amidst the growing worldly life and technological advancement. It is unfortunate that we miss many of those persons who nurture the socio-cultural values through their contributions. The real joy of living a virtuous life is when we work tirelessly and selflessly for the society.
In his presidential address Most Rev. Dr Henry D’Souza, president of Sandesha Foundation Bishop of Bellari Diocese said, “Today we are living in a world where environment, harmony, health, unity, sensitivity, relationship and cooperation are great matters of concern. Let us aspire to build a society without hatred, division and violence. He greeted all the awardees for their work of love in their respective fields.
Diamond Jubilarian Sr Simon Peter Coelho was honoured by the Chairman Bishop Henry D Souza, for his 15 long years of service towards Sandesha Institute.
The members of the jury Dr Valerian Rodrigues, Dr Na Da Shetty, Ms Concepta Alva, Ms Chandrakala Nandavar and Mr Rafiq Master were felicitated on the occasion. The patrons, sponsors and well-wishers of the Sandesha Institute were also felicitated.

ಮಂಗಳೂರು; ಫೆ.07: ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಬಜ್ಜೋಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸಂದೇಶ ಫೌಂಡೇಶನ್ ಫಾರ್ ಕಲ್ಚರ್ ಅಂಡ್ ಎಜುಕೇಶನ್ ಆವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಅದ್ಧೂರಿ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಪ್ರದಾನ ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ 9 ಮಂದಿ ಸಾಧಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗೆ 2023ನೇ ಸಾಲಿನ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿತ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಮಟ್ಟದ ‘ಸಂದೇಶ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ’ಯನ್ನು ಮಂಗಳವಾರ, ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ 07, 2023 ರ ಸಂಜೆ ಪ್ರದಾನ ಮಾಡಲಾಯಿತು.

ಸಂದೇಶ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಪುರಸ್ಕೃತ ಕೋಟಿಗಾನಹಳ್ಳಿ ರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಅವರು ಕವನ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಪಡಿಸಿದರು. ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಪುರಸ್ಕೃತರು, ಸಂದೇಶ ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಪುರಸ್ಕೃತ ಡಾ.ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ಪಾಟೀಲ ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯಿಸಿ, ‘ಸೂಕ್ಷ್ಮ ವಿಕಾಸವಾದಾಗ ಸಮಾಜದ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟ ಉತ್ತಮಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆ. ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲೂ ಪರಿವರ್ತನೆ, ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆ ಆದಾಗ ಸಮಾಜದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವು ಸಾತ್ವಿಕತೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚುವುದನ್ನು ಕಾಣಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಸಂದೇಶ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯು ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಗಳ ಪ್ರಧಾನ್ ಮಾಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಸಮಾಜದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಕಾರಾತ್ಮಕತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಒಳಿತನ್ನು ತುಂಬುವ ಮಹತ್ತರ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. “ಈ ಗೌರವವು ನಾನು ಗುರುತಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಲು ಉತ್ಸಾಹವನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿದೆ” ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಬಿಷಪ್ ಅತೀ ವಂದನೀಯ ಡಾ. ಪೀಟರ್ ಪಾವ್ಲ್ ಸಲ್ಡಾನ್ಹಾ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ”ಮಾನವನು ಸಮಾಜದ ಒಳಿತಿಗಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಆಂತರಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಆಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮಿಕ ಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಅನ್ವೇಷಿಸಿ ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಶ್ರಮಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಸಂದೇಶ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾನ, ಸಮಾಜದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಸ್ವಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲಗಳನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಆಂತರಿಕ ಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಕೊಡುಗೆಯಾಗಿ ನೀಡಿದವರನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ ಗೌರವಿಸಿವೆ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿ ಡಾ.ಎಂ.ಮೋಹನ್ ಆಳ್ವ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, “ದೇವರು ನೀಡಿದ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರತಿಭೆಯನ್ನು ಧಾರಾಳವಾಗಿ ಬಳಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಈ ಮಹಾಪುರುಷರನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಮಹಿಳೆಯರನ್ನು ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಲು ನಾನು ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಯಾಗಿ ಹರ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಬೆಳೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಲೌಕಿಕ ಜೀವನ ಮತ್ತು ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಪ್ರಗತಿಯ ನಡುವೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ, ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಜೀವನ ಮತ್ತು ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳು ರಾಜಿಯಾಗುತ್ತಿವೆ. ತಮ್ಮ ಕೊಡುಗೆಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ-ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಪೋಷಿಸುವ ಅನೇಕ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಾವು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ದುರದೃಷ್ಟಕರ. ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅವಿಶ್ರಾಂತವಾಗಿ ಮತ್ತು ನಿಸ್ವಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ದುಡಿದಾಗಲೇ ಸದ್ಗುಣದ ಜೀವನ ನಡೆಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಜವಾದ ಆನಂದ ಹುದುಗಿದೆ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಸಂದೇಶ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾನದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಬಳ್ಳಾರಿ ಧರ್ಮಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯದ ಧರ್ಮಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಅತಿ ವಂ. ಡಾ. ಹೆನ್ರಿ ಡಿಸೋಜ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೀಯ ಭಾಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, “ಪರಿಸರ, ಸೌಹಾರ್ದತೆ, ಆರೋಗ್ಯ, ಏಕತೆ, ಸೂಕ್ಷ್ಮತೆ, ಬಾಂಧವ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಸಹಕಾರವು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಕಾಳಜಿಯ ವಿಷಯಗಳಾಗಿರುವ ಜಗತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂದು ನಾವು ಬದುಕುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ದ್ವೇಷ, ಒಡಕು, ಹಿಂಸಾಚಾರ ಇಲ್ಲದ ಸಮಾಜ ಕಟ್ಟಲು ಹಾತೊರೆಯೋಣ.” ಅವರು ವಿವಿಧ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಿಂದ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಪುರಸ್ಕೃತರನ್ನು ಅಭಿನಂದಿಸಿದರು.
ಸAದೇಶ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ 15 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಸುದೀರ್ಘ ಸೇವೆಗೈದ ಡೈಮಂಡ್ ಜುಬಿಲೇರಿಯನ್ ಶ್ರೀ ಸೈಮನ್ ಪೀಟರ್ ಕುವೆಲ್ಲೊ ಅವರನ್ನು ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಬಿಷಪ್ ಹೆನ್ರಿ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ ಅವರು ಗೌರವಿಸಿದರು.
ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಸಮಿತಿ ಸದಸ್ಯರಾದ ಡಾ.ವಲೇರಿಯನ್ ರೋಡ್ರಿಗಸ್, ಡಾ.ನಾ.ಡಾ.ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ, ಕಾನ್ಸೆಪ್ಟಾ ಆಳ್ವ, ಚಂದ್ರಕಲಾ ನಂದಾವರ ಮತ್ತು ರಫೀಕ್ ಮಾಸ್ಟರ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಸಂದೇಶ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಪೋಷಕರು, ಪ್ರಾಯೋಜಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ಹಿತೈಷಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕೂಡ ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಸಂದೇಶ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಸಂಚಾಲಕ ರೆ.ಫಾ.ಸುದೀಪ್ ಪಾವ್ಲ್ ಗಣ್ಯರನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು. ಸಂದೇಶ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಗಳ ವಿಸ್ವಾಸ್ಥರಾದ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಸಂಚಾಲಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಯ್ ಕ್ಯಾಸ್ಟೆಲಿನೊ ನೆರೆದಿದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದರು. ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಐರಿನ್ ರೆಬೆಲ್ಲೊ, ಕುಲಶೇಕರ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು.
ಕೊನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕತಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನೆರವೇರಿತು. ಎಲಾರಿಗೂ ಭೋಜನದ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.
