Mangalore : Centenary Jubilee Year of St. Sebastian Church Permannur was inaugurated by Vicar General of Mangalore Diocese Msgr Denis Prabhu on Sunday 15th January 2017.
Solemn Eucharistic Procession was held from St Sebastian Chapel, Adamkudru to St. Sebastian Church Permannur, and it was presided over by Very Rev. Dr Joseph Martis, the Rector of St Joseph Seminary.
Msgr Denis Prabhu presided over the solemn Eucharistic celebration. Logo of Centenary Jubilee was launched on the occasion and people professed the faith with lighted candles in one hand and ribbons coming from the Cross on the other hand.
Parish Priest Very Rev. Dr J. B. Saldanha thanked everyone who helped for the success of the event. Fr Faustine Lobo, Fr Edwin Mascarenhas, Fr Praveen Joy Saldanha, Fr Nilesh Crasta, and 15 priests were present for the programme. More than 3000 people participated in this programme with devotion.
