Oct 2, 2016: Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM), Mangalore Diocese inaugurated its 70th JUBILEE YEAR with grandeur on 2nd October 2016 at Olivet House, Jeppu.
Mgsr. Denis Moras Prabhu, Vicar General presided the function and inaugurated the JUBILEE YEAR symbolically by unvieling the logo of the Jubilee year. He also said that kindness has no price, so the youth of ICYM should build the society with their kindness without expecting anything from the society. He gave his good wishes for the program.
Rev. Fr. Ronald Prakash Dsouza Mangalore Diocese ICYM Director addressed the gathering saying today Youth need training to be the pillar of service and to be united. He concluded wishing good luck for the Jubilee Year.
Mr. Stany Dsouza, a young entrepreneur graced the program as Chief Guest and addressed the youth through his beautiful motivating message.
Later the meaning of the logo was elaborated by Mr. Joel Concessao, PRO of ICYM Mangalore Diocese.
ICYM President Mr. Jackson Dcosta welcomed the gathering and Secretary Ms. Ancita Dsouza delivered the vote of thanks. Mr. Ashwin Sequiera compered the program.
