Mangaluru, May 31: In view of Jericho prayer campaign, a cross was sent to all the Dioceses in India and the cross had come to Mangalore on 29 May 2018.
This Cross traveled all the 124 parishes of Mangalore Diocese and reached Bishop’s House today, 31st May 2019 at 5pm. Bishop of Mangalore Most Rev. Dr Peter Paul D’Souza received the cross at the Bishops House chapel from Fr Edwin D’Souza, parish Priest of Permude parish. Faithfull from Permude parish accompanied the cross to Bishop’s house.
Rev. Melwyn Noronha, Director, Charismatic Movement and coordinator of Jericho prayer campaign, Mangalore diocese conducted the prayer service.
The purpose of this devotion was to pray for peace in our diocese and in India.
Vicar general, Chancellor and other Priests from Bishop’s house were present.
