Kuwait Canara welfare Association( KCWA) distributes scholarship to needy students.

KCWA in Association with ICYM and YCS  distributed scolarship to more than 200 PUC and Graduate needy students during the  programme  held at jyothi Nivas hall Pastoral institute Bajjodi on Saturday 20 June.

The programme was presided over by Rev Fr Henry Sequiera the Chancellor of Mangalore  diocese.

Mr Anil Fernandes, Fr Peter D Souza,   Fr Ronald Prakash D Souza, Mr Pascal Monteiro, Mr Naveen Mascarehnas, Mr Elias Sanctis,  Mr Roshan Melwyn Lobo  and Ms  Meldrida were present on the Dias.

speaking at the occassion Mr Anil ex President KCWA said; the association has given so far more than Rs 3 crore as a help for the needy people of Udupi and Mangalore diocese. Expressing his gratitude to ICYM for what he is today, encouraged the youth to join the YCS and ICYM to mould their future.

In his presidential address Fr Henry Sequiera  the Chancellor of the diocese  of Mangalore appriciated the efforts of the KCWA.

Encouraging  the students to  study hard  cautioned parents to monitor the studies of their children.

The KCWA office bearers distributed scholarship to PUC and Degree Students.

Ms Meldrida welcomed the gathering, Roshan proposed vote of thanks.
