Nov. 16, 2019: Last meeting of Diocesan Pastoral Parished of the term was held at Bishop House on 15 November 2019 presided over by Most Rev Dr Peter Paul Saldanha the Bishop of Mangalore.
After the prayer bishop welcomed all the members to the Meeting. Mr M P Noronha Secretary DPP read the report of the last meeting and was passed by the house. Mr Roy Castelino moderated the evaluation and sharing session. The various committees formed in DPP presented their reports.
The representatives from each deanery presented the evaluation of various activities in the deanery. They also presented the feedback and suggestions for the future planning in the diocese.
After the committees’ evaluation and report, Mr M P Noronha presented the bird’s eye view of the works done during his two tenures. The mode of celebration of Christmas with other brethren in this year was discussed.
The Bishop in his presidential address gave his feed back and thanked the organizers especially Mr M P Noronha for his selfless service for the last two terms.
The meeting was concluded with fellowship meal.
