Mangaluru, Sep 28, 2015 : The muhurtham of Kannada film ‘Amara Chethana Santha Joseph Vaz’ was held on Sunday, September 27 at Saint Joseph Vaz Shrine, Mudipu. Fr Benjamin Pinto blessed the script of the film.
Roshan D’Souza the vice president, Leo D’Souza the secretary of Mudipu Church, Gilbert & Hazel Crasto and family the sponsors of the film, Henbert Pinto the vice president Bondel Church and Vinod Gangolli the director of the film were present on the occasion.
In his keynote address Vinod Gangolli briefed about the storyline of the film and the life of St Joseph Vaz.
Fr Benjamin Pinto congratulated the whole team for this noble venture and whished a grand success to this movie.
‘Amara Chethana Santha Joseph Vaz’ will portrait the biography of the great Indian born saint and his miraculous missionary life in Sri Lanka. The film will be realesed in January 2016.
Leo D’Souza Compered the programme and thanked all. Thereafter a scene of the film was shot with the artists.
