SAME, Tanzania, Dec. 25: A first ever three days outdoor Christmas celebration was organised from 21st to 23rd December 2015 by Fr. Victor Machado, Bro. Steven Cutinha and Fr. Hilary Lobo along with the parishioners of Kifaru Parish under the Mangalore-Africa Mission (SAME Mission) to share the joy of Christmas. More than 60 parishoners were involved in the Dance, Carol singing and enacting of the Christmas play from Genesis till the birth of Jesus and exile in Egypt. The Church Choir sang melodious Carols in Ki Swahili language.
The three hour long program was inaugurated on 21st December at Kifaru Village at 3 pm. On the second day 22nd December the presentation was held in Kalimani Village from 4pm to 7pm and on 23rd December at Kileo Village from 4pm to 7pm. Many people were gathered from the villages to witness this unique program that brought in joy and happiness.
