Mar. 31: The Bishop of Mangalore Rt Rev Dr Peter Paul Saldanha visited the shelter of poor and needy people and interacted with the destitute on 31 March 2020.
He made arrangements for a surgery in Fr Muller’s Hospital for one of the inmates whose hand was broken during the lockdown time period.
Bishop also sponsored the meal and personally distributed the food to the needy.
It is a great example of a shepherd feeding the hungry during these difficult times.
