Mangaluru Jan. 15, 2020: The ongoing formation of priests of Mangalore Diocese was held in two batches from 13-14 January 2020 at Pastoral Centre Bajjodi. Fr Ronald Serrao Rector St Joseph Seminary and Fr Vijay Machado Director Mangala Jyothi gave the input on new Konkani Missal. They explained about various changes in the new missal and its translations in Konkani. Priests shared their views and sought clarifications regarding the liturgical matters.
Prof Lionel Aranha, Professor IIM and Fr Chethan Lobo Cap PRO of Udupi Diocese shared their views on CAA, NCR and NPR and educated the clergy.
Bishop Peter Paul Saldanha was present for both days and gave his reflections and feedback. Around 227 priests took part in ongoing formation of priests.
