The meeting of the Council of Priests (SENATE) of the diocese of Mangalore was held at the Bishop house on Thursday June 25, 2015 at 9.30 a.m. The meeting was presided over by Most Rev. Dr Aloysius Paul D Sousa Bishop of Mangalore. Most Rev. Dr Robert Miranda Bishop of Gulbarga, Mnsgr Denis Moras Prabhu the Vicar General, Fr Joseph Martis the Secretary of the Council and Fr Gregory D Souza OCD were present on the dais.
Bishop Robert Miranda in his input session on Direct Evangelization: Opportunities and Challenges in Mangalore diocese, explained the concept, the theology different opportunities the challenges etc with the help of Scriptures and the teachings of the Church. The session was followed by group discussion moderated by Fr Gregory D Souza OCD. After the input session the issues were discussed at the house.
