Nov 14 : Bandhavya® Mangaluru organized a motivation programme for partner NGOs and Self-Help group members coming within MCC limits / jurisdiction on November 12, 2020 in CODP-ISD Mangaluru. The purpose was to encourage the participants to become members of Mangalore City Corporation Ward Committee and thereby engage themselves in good governance.
Fr Oswald Monteiro, Director of CODP and Secretary of Bandhavya welcomed the participants and delivered the key note address.
Mr Nigel Albuquerque, member of the Mangalore City Civic group, being the resource person spoke about the need, composition, territorial area, functions of ward committee and procedure for filling in the applications. Thereafter, he clarified the queries raised and motivated all the participants to render their services towards good governance.
Ms Lenet Gonsalves, Programme Manager of CODP delivered the vote of thanks.
