Sep 6 : The feast of St. Theresa of Kolkata on the 5th of September was celebrated in St. Joseph’s Seminary with great exuberance. The day of “Kannada Sahithya Academy” was also celebrated on this feast in the seminary.
The Holy Mass was celebrated in Kannada by Fr. Richard Pais of the diocese of Shimoga. The members of the Kannada academy enhanced the festal atmosphere with their voices by singing in the choir.
The anthology of the Kannada academy titled “Sampige” was released by Fr. Richard Pais after the mass.
On this feast, the sermon and prayers were all centered around just one motive that, we need to be another Mother Theresa.
