On 26th of July 2016, Rev. Fr. Prakash Cutinha from Mangalore Diocese [currently in Australia] & Fr. George Stephen Monis visited SMA St. Joseph Boys Science Secondary School Kituri, Same, Tanzania. Fr. Prakash Cutinha is Mangalore diocesan priest currently offers his services to Melbourne Diocese as an Administrator of St. Joseph Church, 140 Westbourne Grove, Northcote VIC 3070 Australia. Fr. George OFM Cap is a Capuchin priest of Franciscan Missionaries serves at Chikamagalur, Karnataka.

On Sunday 24th July in the evening, mission Superior Rev. Fr. Alwyn M. J. DSouza extended warm welcome to the visitors at Kilimanjaro Airport, Tanzania and accompanied them to Mission priests residence at Kifaru.

On Monday 25th July along with Parish Priest Fr. Hilary Lobo & Superior Rev. Fr. Alwyn M. J. DSouza visitors visited the Mission Parish and its substations. Fr. Hilary explained them about the Pastoral mission Kifaru & its substations. After the lunch at Parish house the visitors visited the Ursuline Franciscan Sisters [UFS] at SAME.

On Tuesday 26th July they visited St. Joseph Boys Science Secondary School, the education mission of SMA Mission. Visitors were welcomed with school band & at the students assembly they were felicitated for their kind visit. Fr. Prakash & Fr. George addressed the students & motivated them to study hard & to gain good result. They wished them all the very best & blessed them to have a bright future. Then Fr. Victor, School Headmaster & Fr. Alwyn School manager took them around the school campus and showed the development works.

On Wednesday 27th July splendid lunch was organized for the visitors as the gesture of love & tribute. Marian convent sisters also joined for the meal. After paying short visit to SMA Mission & greeting all the very best to the missionaries the visitors left back to India on same day evening. It was an emotional & love filled visit by both the priests from India.
