July 25, 2018: Funeral rite of Fr Alexander Lobo was held at Valencia Church Mangalore on 25 July.
Most Rev Dr Aloysius Paul D Souza the Apostolic Administrator presided over the Eucharistic Celebration with other bishops, Most Rev Dr Robert Michael Miranda Bishop of Gulbarga, Most Rev Dr Gerald Isac Lobo Bishop of Udupi, Most Rev Dr Peter Paul Saldanha Bishop elect Mangalore diocese and large number of concelebrant priests.
The Bishop elect Most Rev Dr Peter Paul Saldanha preached the homily, Fr Anthony Shera gave the panegyric.
The funeral was witnessed by large number of people friends and relatives of Fr Alexander. A great educationist , a lover of the he poor, a help to the addicts , a humble humane priest of God Fr Alexander ( Archu Padrab) is immersed into the history.
