MANGALURU, FEB 03: On the background of Ecumenical Week (Jan 18-25) and Dicoesan Ecumenical Sunday, celebrated on January 29, 2023, Fr Rupesh Madtha, Diocesan Secretary for Ecumenical Commission and Secretary for Mangalore Christian Council organised an Ecumenical gathering of bishops on Thursday, February 02, 2023 here in Kankandy, Mangalore.
Most Rev Dr Peter Paul Saldanha, Bishop of Mangalore paid a cordial visit to the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Bishop Most Rev. Yakoob Mar Elias, Diocese of Brahmavar, Bishop’s House at Kankanady, Mangaluru
There was a short prayer service, a cordial talk and exchange of gifts.
A few priests of the Malankara Orthodox Church witnessed this unique Ecumenical visit.
