Aug 19, 2016: On Thursday, August 18, 2016 Indian Catholic Youth Movement members of Mangalore Diocesan Central Executive Committee submitted an appeal to the honorable Karnataka chief Minister Mr Siddaramayya through Mr Ivan D’Souza, the member of Legislative Council and Chief whip of Legislative Council to declare September 8 th, as a Government Holiday on account of Nativity of Blessed Virgin Mary .
On this Occasion, Rev Fr Ronald D’Souza, the Director of Mangalore Diocese, Jackson Eric D’Costa the President, Ancita D’Souza the General Secretary, Lavitha Miranda the Lady Vice President, Anish D’Souza the Joint Secretary, Ashwin Sequeira the Treasurer, Anish DSouza the Auditor, Fayal DSouza the Rep of Karnataka Region, Jaison Pereira the President of ICYM Moodbidri Deanery, Sandesh Sequeira Youth Congress Vice President of Pakshikere were present.
