Mangaluru, June 09: As the part of Year of Life-2020 – Mangalore Diocese, the Laudato Si Committee conducted Happy Face Photo contest for the public. The Good number persons above the age of 12 sent entries for the contest. Due to the lockdown in the country we could not publish the results on time.

Happy Face Photo Contest Female Category: Ms Aiswarya S. , Sri Durga Prasad Kelagina Mane, Yekkur, Mangalore
The winners will get cash prize of Rs 10000/- each.
“Human life is precious, care and protect it” is the theme of year of life 2020.
Most Rev. Dr Peter Paul Saladanha , Bishop of Mangalore proclaimed the year of life in January 2020 and the same was inaugurated in Parishes of Mangalore diocese with various activities like Prayer, yellow ribbon movement ,Handbills to create awareness about the evil of Suicide, the pledge , workshop and seminars on protection human life , counseling, and toll free Helpline support number to prevent suicides.
