Jan 24 : “Community Day” was celebrated at St Joseph’s Inter-Diocesan Seminary on Thursday, 23 January 2020 with gusto and great vigour. The annual celebration began with some fun games organized for the auxiliary staff members on Wednesday 22 January 2020 at 4pm.
On Thursdays there were activities and other games organized for the teaching faculty and students of the seminary. It began with a group presentation followed by inter-batch singing competitions, tug of war and other completions. Fr Alex Kallarickal and Fr Francis Dsouza were the special guests of the day.
A Solemn Eucharist was celebrated in the evening with Fr Ronald Serrao, Rector being the main celebrant. The Faculty Members, Staff and students participated in the Holy Mass. Fr Nelson Almeida broke the Word of God.
After Mass, a short fun-filled energetic entertainment program was put up by all. Everyone gave splendid performances with the Musical Item of the Teaching Faculty being the highlight of the evening.
After the program, a fellowship meal prepared by both the teaching and the non-teaching staff was arranged for all. The day concluded with night prayers. Community Spirit is always the backbone of the seminary and it was meticulously presented on the day. Kudos to all !!
