The lucky coupons draw of Lenten Campaign 2016 was conducted in CODP-ISD, Mangaluru in the presence of Rev. Fr Valerian Menezes, Judicial Vicar of the Diocese of Mangalore on 25th May 2016. Fr Oswald Monteiro, Director CODP; Fr Vernon Vas, Co-ordinator Guidance Cell; Staff of CODP and ISD, and a few other guests were also present.
Before conducting the draw Fr Oswald Monteiro welcomed Fr Valerian, Fr Vernon and all those present for the Draw. He explained the purpose of the campaign and presented a brief account of the collection made and expenses incurred to date. Fr Valerian, in his address, acknowledged the efforts of the Director and Staff of CODP from the start of the campaign to the draw date. He hoped that this year’s collection would benefit as many people in need of assistance to repair/reconstruct their houses. He thanked the Director and Staff of CODP for their efforts in making the campaign a success.
Thereafter, the draw was conducted. Fr Valerian, Fr Vernon and Mr Noel drew the first three prize winning numbers respectively. This was followed by the draw of five consolation prize numbers.
