April 25 : The first meeting of Pastoral Commission Secretaries of the diocese of Mangalore presided over by Most Rev. Dr Peter Paul Saldanha the new bishop of Mangalore was held on 24 April 2019 at Pastoral Institute Bajjodi Mangalore.
The meeting was organized by Fr Peter D Souza , the Chief Coordinator of Diocesan Pastoral Commissions. Fr Viajy Machado Director Mangala Jyothi led the prayers.The Secretaries of Various Commissions presented their reports and bishop gave his feedback. Bishop in his message invited to work inclusively involving the religious and laity in the commissions.He also mentioned about upcoming training in preparation for the pastoral plan of the diocese.Fr Peter D Souza thanked the bishop and the secretaries.
