Jan 3 : The Valedictory program of training in making cloth bags was held at CODP® Mangaluru on Dec 31, 2019.

Mrs. Prathibha, a trainee welcomed the guests on the dais and also the trainees.

Fr. Vincent D Souza addressed the trainees and told them to take this opportunity of using cloth bags which is eco-friendly in nature. He advised them to reduce the plastic use in our day to day life.

Fr. Oswald Monteiro said to the trainees that the initial enthusiasm should remain and continue till the end of life. This program had twin objectives: (1) To move from plastic to cloth bags (2) to help the candidates earn livelihood. The Candidates will have to achieve the objectives now after the completion of training.

Mr. Joseph KP, the tailoring Instructor of CODP congratulated the students for their interest in the tailoring course while they were under training. Fr. Oswald and Fr. Vincent distributed the course certificates to the trainees.

Some of the trainees expressed their learning experience during the program and they thanked CODP for this unique opportunity given to them.

Ms. Madhushree, a trainee compered the program and Mrs. Premalatha, a trainee proposed the vote of thanks.
