As a message to World Peace Day, Rev Fr Nelson Dalmeida, director, Sandesha Foundation is all set to screen his fourth non-commercial value based short film MY PEACE MY CHOICE on 20th September, 2018, at 8.45 a.m. in St Aloysius Gonzaga School. The film is directed, scripted and produced by him. Most Rev Dr Peter Paul Saldanha, Bishop of Mangalore will release the film. Very Rev Fr Dionysius Vas, Rector, St Aloysius College, Rev Fr Melwyn Mendonca, Manager, St Aloysius Gonzaga School, Mrs Grace Noronha, Principal, St Aloysius Gonzaga School are the chief guests.
The special feature of the film is three families Hindu, Muslim and Christian families not only acted but they really belong to three different religions. The purpose of the film is to promote peace and harmony in the society. The message of the film is “Every religion is an abode of peace and harmony”. The primary motive of the film is to show that religion is not a hurdle for fellowship rather it is a cradle of peace and harmony. Throughout the film we find that though the family members belong to Hindu, Muslim and Christian religions, they live in peace and harmony. They share, help and celebrate festivals with no friction. They live as friendly nighbhours.
Ishaan P. Shetty, Mohmmed Zeeshan and Ethen Pinto are on the cast who belong to three different religions. They are the students of St Aloysius Gonzaga School. Interesting part of the film is even their parents and teacher have acted in the film. This film is not far from the reality of a peaceful society.
