The Talent haunt of YCS/YSM of Mangalore diocese and the Silver Jubilee celebration of their magazine Yuvathare was held St Raymond’s degree College Vamnajoor.
Addressing at the Silver Jubille celebrations of yuvathare Most Rev Dr. Aloysius Paul, the Bishop of Mangalore said,”a pen is mightier than a sword, the association members can develop a habit of reading then express their thoughts through the magazine yuvathare which is celebrating 25 years today. Let this magazine shine with the talents of YCS/YSM in the society.” He also released the silver jubilee special issue of Yuvathare.

In his chief guest address Mr. Roy Castelino, the President of Karnataka Konakni Sahitya Academy, encouraged the young minds to grab the opportunities and write in the magazine. He also distributed the prizes to the winners of various competitions organized at the occasion.
Sr Mariette BS, the Bethany Provincial, felicitated the former editors and the correspondents of Yuvathare. Many competitions were held throughout day and the winners were rewarded with prizes.
Mr. Francis D Cunha the first editor of Yuvathare welcomed the gathering Fr. Edwin Correa the Director of YCS/YSM proposed vote of thanks, Mr. Gavin Lobo compeered the programme. Along with dignitaries Ms Joyline D Souza President YCS, Ms Frevita D Souza the Representive , Mr Roshan Lobo, National Representative , Mr Ashwin YSM President were present on the dais.
