Oct. 26, 2016: An autobiography of Konkani Cakravarthi and Konkani Moize ,Fr Mark Valder was released by Mr Roy Castelino, President Karnataka Konkani Sahitya academi at Sandesha, Mangalore on Saturday, 22nd October, 2016.
During this event, his 80th Birthday was also celebrated. During the Programme, Mr Hemacharya, Daijiwaorld Weekly editor, enumerated the work done by Fr mark Valder for Konknai. He also recalled how Fr mark has trained Konkani writers when he was editor of Raknno. Raised the toast on the Occasion, he wished well to Fr Mark.
Dr Edward Nazereth, a brain behind this programme, spoke about his association with his guru Fr Mark Valder. He introduced the book “Lokacho Yajak – Gorvank Charavpi Yajak Jalli Katha” an autobiography of Fr Mark Valder.
