Oct 27, 2017: Community Wedding celebrations were held on Tuesday October 24th 2017 at St Jude Shrine Pakshikere. 10 couples exchanged their marriage vows. All of them were from very poor families. All their wedding needs were met by the shrine.
Rev. Fr Walter D’mello was the main celebrant. Rev. Fr Andrew Leo D’souza Parish Priest of St Jude Shrine and Rev Fr Clifford Pinto Assistant Parish Priest and 7 guest Priests concelebrated and blessed the couples. After the mass there was felicitation programme to the newly wedded couple in the Golden Jubilee Hall and community meal for all. Large crowd was present. Mr Jackson Saldanha Vice President of Pastoral Parish Council welcomed the gathering and Mr Robert D’Souza, Nithyadar Ward compered the program. Entire programme was live telecasted on Divine Word Tv
