Sep. 20: Fr Edwin Mascarehnas, Socius Valencia Parish, passed away on 20 September 2020 at his native place Kelmbet, Udupi Diocese.
His Body will be kept for public viewing on 20 September 2020, at St Don Bosco Church Kelmbet at 2.30 onwards followed by Funeral mass at 4pm.
He was born on 9 July 1963 to Mr. Maurice Mascarehnas and Faustina Mascarehnas at Kelmbet. He was ordained priest for the diocese of Mangalore on 7 May 1991. He served as the Assistant Parish priest at Shirva, Omzoor, Bendur parishes. He was the Parish Priest at Petri and Anegundi parishes. He was a good educationist, Headmaster at St Joseph School Bidar, St Anthony P U College Naravi, Principal Permannur College and Parochial Administrator at Mariashram Talapady.
