Mangalore Bishop visits St. Joseph Boys’ Science Secondary School, Tanzania

On 23rd of March 2019 evening Bishop of Mangalore Most Rev. Dr. Peter Paul Saldanha visited St. Joseph Boys’ Science Secondary School at Kituri, Mwanga, Tanzania. He visited the science laboratories and all other buildings and facilities at the school campus. Fr. Vincent, Fr. Alwyn, Fr. Victor & Fr. George accompanied the bishop. He appreciated the school management for their hard work and establishing this science school.

Then bishop visited the students where they had the finals of inter house football match. Fr. George the hostel director of the school welcomed everyone. Bishop honored the winners and runners with the trophy for their excellence in the sports and he encouraged them to continue the physical activities. He mentioned this is the age where students can engage themselves as much as possible in the sports, games and physical exercise and it will benefit in the future. At the end Fr. Victor thanked one and all. Mr. Aiden sports teacher coordinated the program.
