Mr Vincent Mascarenhas first lay person to visit Mangalore-Africa Mission

On 19th March Mr Vincent Mascarenhas from Corpus Christi Church Moodbidri arrived at Kifaru, Tanzania on a visit to the Mangalore-Africa Mission. He is the first lay person from Mangalore to visit the mission. During his visit Mr Vincent is intending to visit all the places where the mission team is working and prepare a documentary on the same.

 

 

It can be recalled that Mr Vincent has rendered his service to the diocese of Mangalore on various capacities such as Editor of Amcho Yuvak, Secretary of diocesan ICYM central council. He was also the coordinator of Regional Youth Commission.

He led a voluntary team of ten people to Buj for the rehabilitation work for ten days during the time of earth quake in 2001 and in Chennai he had volunteered for a year when Tsunami struck the Pacific Ocean in 2004.

Presently he is the convener of Diocesan Media Cell.
