As the part of ongoing formation of the junior clergy ( 1 to 4 Years of ordination) 3 days programme was held at pastoral institute Bajjodi from 24 – 26 th November 2014.The programme was Inaugurated by Rev Dr Victor Machado the Director Pastoral Institute.
On the first day priests shared their expreinces in two groups, facilitated by the Director and Asst Director of Pastoral Institute. On the second day morning sessions were on the relationship betweeen Parish Priest and Asst.Parish Priest by Mnsgr. Denis Moras Prabhu Vicar General and the afternpoon sessions were held on educational apostolate in Mangalore diocese conducted by Fr Jerald D Souza Secretary CBE, Laws on Children and Women by Fr Assisi Almeda Parish Priest Maril and the Scope for higher education by Fr Aalwyn Serrao the Principal Rosario College Mangalore.The last day Fr Praveen D Souza OCD conducted seesions on emotional maturity of a priest with regard to the pastoral ministry. Three days programme was concluded with the evaluation held at 3.30 in the evening, 15 junior priests of the diocese participated in the ongoing formation programme.
