MANGALURU: The Catholic Board of Education (CBE), Diocese of Mangalore, disbursed the third annual Msgr. Leslie F. Shenoy Scholarships to 101 deserving Pre-University (PU) students studying in CBE-managed institutions today, August 25, 2026. The formal programme was preceded by a comprehensive career guidance and motivational session conducted by renowned career consultant Prof. Dr. Ronald Pinto, Director of the Institute for Individual Development, Mangalore. Addressing the young scholars and their parents, Prof. Dr. Pinto highlighted diverse career pathways, encouraging students to actively pursue civil services (UPSC/KPSC), defence forces, banking, and professional competitive examinations. The programme officially began with a prayer led by the students of Kripa Sadan, Bajpe. Rev. The Chief Guest for the event was Mr. Goldwyn Vas, the nephew of the late Msgr. Leslie Shenoy, who travelled from America to attend.
