Annual Feast of St Lawrence Church, Bondel celebrated

Media Release Photos : Stanly Bantwal Aug. 10 : The Annual Feast of St Lawrence Church, Bondel was celebrated with grandeur and devotion on Monday 10 August 2020,. Msgr Maxim Lawrence Noronha, Vicar General of Diocese of Mangalore was the main celebrant . Intention of the Feast was “Lord save us from this Covid-19 pandemic”. Msgr Maxim Lawrence Noronha began the celebration saying, “we have gathered here not only to celebrate the feast but also to pray for the people suffering  due to Covid-19”. Rev. Fr Andrew Leo D’Souza, Parish Priest , Rev. Fr Clifford Pinto , Rev Fr Rupesh Tauro and other priests concelebrated the mass. On the occasion of Annual feast , a Family prayer book was released by Msgr Maxim Lawrence Noronha. Rev. Fr Andrew Leo D’Souza Parish Priest , Rev. Fr Clifford Pinto , Rev Fr Rupesh Tauro, Mr Reginald D’Souza Vice-President Pastoral Council , Mr Steven Noronha Secretary, Mr Prakash Pinto convener of feast committee and Mr Wilfred Alvares Editor and other dignitaries were present. During the feast, people of all religion visited the shrine and expressed religious unity.
