Dec. 12: The Annual Retreat of Priests of Mangalore diocese was held for a week from 6 – 11 December 2020 at St Joseph Inter – diocesan Seminary Jeppu Mangalore.
Fr Joy Painadeth the professor of Scripture and the Parish Priest of Pilathara Church Kerala preached the retreat to 122 Priests and helped them for their spiritual renewal. Most Rev Dr Peter Paul Saldanha and Bishop emeritus Most Rev Dr Aloysius Paul D Souza took part in the retreat.
The retreat was concluded with solemn Eucharistic celebration on Friday, presided over by the Bishop. After the Mass, a short thanking and sharing of the retreat experience programme was held. Fr Valerian D’Souza Vicar Vara, Bantwal deanery shared his experience and thanked all those toiled to make the retreat a great success. The Bishop gave his final message to the Priests. Fr Anil Avild Lobo the Principal St Mary College Bela compeered the programme.
