MANGALORE,MARCH 09: An introductory course on studying and reading the Bible, ‘Bible Vista,’ was held at Our Lady of Miracles Church, Milagres, on 27, 28 February and 1, 2 March 2023, evenings from 6.00 to 7.30 pm. Fourty-Eight parishioners participated in this program.
This course, while giving just a bird’s eye view of the contents of the Bible, emphasised the need for its deeper study, which was the course’s aim. Parish Priest, Rev Fr Bonaventure Nazareth, and Asst. Priest Rev. Fr Ivan Ashwin D’Souza oversaw the overall arrangements of the programme. The resource person, Diocesean Biblical Commission secretary Rev Dr Vincent Sequeira, noted that in the past, this program was also held at Derebail and Valencia parishes.
