We have seen in the first volume of this History (pp547ss) the origin and progress of the Pavur Mission under Fr A. Camisa SJ. After the Missionary was interned in the Seminary, Jeppu, the Diocese took over the Mission and worked for the Koraga converts, at any rate those who opted to stay on in the place.
The mission was entrested to the Salesians with a view to work towards the total integral empowerment and growth of the koraga Catholics. One priest and two brothers begin the herculean task with a new vision.
The salesians have been toiling to uplift the people socially and economically as will as at educational and health level. The sisters of apostolic carnal have been helping them particularly in education.
The Good work achieved is hardly short of a miracle a number of them infact and it  continues with more promises and their realization.
